Glosförhör
Genomgång: Vad tänka på när man skriver en text?

* struktur (rubrik, stycken, inledning, argument, avslut)

* tydlighet (stavning, grammatik, ordval...)

* innehåll (att man följer instruktionerna och tar med det som "skulle vara med" i texten).


Försök variera språket. Visa att du kan uttrycka dig på olika sätt. Undvika slang/svärord. 

Introduktion = Vad kommer din text att handla om? Vad är din åsikt?

2 - 3 stycken där du tar upp ett argument i varje stycke. (Firstly, Secondly, Finally....)

Avslutande stycke där du "syr ihop påsen" avslutar texten med en slutsats. (To sum this up.... , All in all ...., In conclusion..., So, I do think/believe...)

Essay topics.
You have three different topics to choose from. Your own opinion should be clear in your text. Three of the questions below should somehow be answered in your text. 


1. Write a text where you give your reaction to the film Miss Representation. Your text should answer at least three of the following questions:

* What effects do you think media representation has on Real people. Especially young girls and boys like yourself? Give examples!
* Does the media affect how you dress/look/behave?
* What do you think is meant by "You can't be what you can not see"? Is there a way to change this?
* What, if anything, did you learn from the film?

2. Write a text about your opinion on gender stereotypes. Your text should include answers to at least three of the following questions:

* What is gender stereotypes according to you?
* Are you a typical male/female sterotype?
* Do you have an interest which is not typically male/female? Have you met any predjudices? 
* In her UN-speech Emma Watson said that men are also stuck in the male stereotypes. What does she mean? Give examples.
* "If we stop defining each other by what we are not and start defining ourselves by what we are—we can all be freer" What do you think Emma W means by this? Give examples.

3. Write a text where you give your personal view on cosmetic surgery. Your text should answer at least three of the following questions:

* What do you think of cosmetic surgery?

* Would you consider having cosmetic surgery?

* Do you think cosmetic surgery is more popular with women or men?
* What do you think are the dangers of cosmetic surgery?
* Do you think there should be an age limit for people to have cosmetic surgery?
* How do you define "beauty" in your own words?
